At Re - DECK MN we truly care about the safety of our customers and so we conduct a thorough inspection of the framing of the deck to verify that the deck can be redecked. Some of the things that we look for are joist spacing, ledger attachment, post size and condition, footings, we check for moisture damage and also to make sure that the deck is properly flashed.
If the deck passes our inspection we always try to provide a free on the spot quote. Sometimes the deck is quite large or has a unique shape and we may have to go back to the office to crunch the numbers.

We take time to level your deck, install water proof butyl joist tape to joists, beams, stringers and blocking. We plane your deck and will replace joists if needed. If there is any hardware that can be added onto your deck to make it stronger and last longer we will note that during our inspection and all of these things will be included in your quote.
